This study investigates the impact of inclusive situations, especially interaction between students with and without special needs at the school, on the non-cognitive and academic skills of students without special needs. We measure the students&#8217; interaction with information on whether students use the same shoe box as students with special needs. Our results show that more interaction from sharing a shoe box increases non-cognitive skills and Japanese test scores.
